Cheapflights is an internet media company with a specialization in publishing travel deals and generating sales for travel companies.
Cheapflights.com launched in the USA in June 2003 and has had a very successful first 3 years in the US market. Cheapflights.com receives over 2 million users a month and is a top 13 USA travel website (Hitwise). It is part of the Cheapflights family of sites that was founded over 10 years ago in the UK.
The role of the Manager of Ad Operations is to develop inventory management systems and process to generate highest possible revenue from the Cheapflights site and newsletter.
Responsible to:
General Manager, Cheapflights USA
Key tasks:
- Manage inventory for Cheapflights.com and the Cheapflights.com newsletter
- Implement process and programs for customer invoicing & revenue management
- Work with product & tech teams to develop reports & tools for managing inventory
- Create availability reports and distribute to sales teams
- Make recommendations on pricing due to inventory constraints and demand
- Optimize site & newsletter to generate highest effective CPM/Average Exit Revenue
- Make recommendations on optimization of campaigns for specific advertisers
- Assist in development of creative & landing pages that will improve advertiser performance
REQUIREMENTS:
Preferred background:
? At least 3-5 years online media experience Essential
? Proven track record managing campaigns & inventory Essential
? Education to a college degree level Essential
? Experience in a hands-on, startup environment Desirable
