Manager of Applications Development E-Commerce

Job Summary:
This position is primarily responsible for the management of development, enhancement and support of the eCommerce platform and supporting applications. This position is the first level of management supporting all the information and technology needs of the corresponding business unit. This position is also responsible for managing all vendor relationships with technical vendors.

Essential Functions:
*Provide Support
*The ATG 7.0 eCommerce platform, associated applications and oracle databases
*First-level go-to individual for supported business area
*Meet with business area managers on a regular basis to review project status and determine upcoming priorities.
*Respond to all after-hours production issues as identified by Data Center Operations and Totality.
*Perform trouble-shooting and investigation of business, data or technical issues as they might arise.
*Continue to develop and expand an in-depth understanding of supported business functions.
*Bring a customer-service and can-do attitude to all business user interactions.
*Lead the development of all new applications or enhancements to already existing applications
*Define and create project specifications.
*Develop high-level technical specifications, if required.
*Envision all testing approaches and develop high-level test plans.
*Ensure that adequate documentation is available to business users, programmers and Data Center Operations.
*Coordinate cross-system level testing with other IT Project Managers and their development/support teams.
*Ensure that annual training programs are developed for subordinates and that the plans are adhered to.
*Management of the Engineers and staff reporting to the Project Manager
*Make task assignments
*Review Programmer developed specifications
*Review programming
*Review test plans and test results
*Coordinate implementation into production environments

Essential Qualification:
*Master?s Degree in Information Technology or equivalent combination of intellectual instruction and work experience
*Course work successfully completed in various technical specialties is important
*Demonstrated detailed knowledge of associated technologies (ATG 7.0, JAVA, Html, Oracle)
*A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in eCommerce information technology
*Application of logic, reasoning and problem solving
*Strong ability to work with time/date deadlines
*Computer programming and set-up skills preferred
