Managing Editor-Washington, D.C.

RevolutionHealth.com seeks an experienced, professional managing editor with solid experience in consumer journalism?preferably in health-related topics. Web experience is a plus. This is a hands-on leadership position with multiple simultaneous responsibilities, including:

- Assigning stories and other content projects
- Managing a staff of freelance and full-time editors, writers and copyeditors
- Maintaining medical accuracy and company voice
- Working with multiple departments to meet their editorial needs

The ideal candidate must be able to balance the highest standards of medical accuracy with consumer friendliness and communicate those ideals to a growing staff. Experience managing all aspects of the editorial process?from writing to editing, copywriting to fact-checking?is necessary.
