Marketing Manager

Marketing Manager Description: The Consumer Marketing team is looking for an e-mail marketing manager primarily responsible for strategically and operationally driving new customer acquisition and retention of music and video subscribers. This individual will work with others in the consumer marketing organization, as well as vertical product teams to effectively brand Real subscriptions, and continually increase customer lifetime value. Principle responsibilities include owning acquisition strategies in our e-mail channel, which includes managing all e-mail strategy, e-mail marketing campaigns, and recommendations for improving our e-mail technology. This individual will have revenue ownership and will have specific quarterly goals regarding acquisition of new subscribers and ancillary revenue goals from our worldwide email database of over 50 million names. Experience in an e-mail strategy role is required, particularly with respect to personalization, newsletters, and campaign optimization strategies. This role requires strong management skills, proficiency in analytical thinking and problem solving, and mature interpersonal communication. Ability to manage indirect reports and resources is critical; excellent team and cross-functional skills are essential; must be able to thrive in fast-paced environment. A BS/BA in business or marketing is necessary; and an MBA is preferred. A Minimum 4-5 years of marketing experience and at least 3 years experience developing and executing e-mail campaigns is required, and successful experience acting as an e-mail channel manager preferred.
