The Direct Marketing Manager specializes in developing and deploying Internet Marketing strategies and tactics for WellPoint brands. Strategies are primarily focused on B2C and B2B Member acquisition campaigns and contact strategies. Programs include search marketing, banner advertising and opted-in email messaging.

 

The incumbent Associate works collaboratively with Regions, segment managers, product managers, channel managers and outside vendors to deliver on expected sales results. Also, this position needs to ensure proper alignment with brand guidelines, regulatory and BCBS Association guidelines. Performs other duties as assigned.



Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) and minimum of five years related internet marketing experience required. Must have expertise in Internet strategy formulation, associated technologies, creative development processes and an understanding of marketplace trends. Strong presentation, communication, negotiation and project management skills required. Healthcare experience a plus.
