Marketing Specialist/Manager




Veoh is looking for a Marketing Manager who will bring a passion for reinventing television, a deep knowledge of online communities and a track record of successfully driving consumer behavior. The Marketing Manager will work with the Veoh team to attract and motivate new publishers, viewers and partners via online, email and other channels.

Responsibilities

?

Work with the team that developed the Veoh network to market to new end users and to recruit publishers

Develop, implement, monitor, and optimize existing and new initiatives in multiple channels, including online, email, search engine, guerilla and direct marketing campaigns

Design and execute online marketing and community plans for specific product launches that include: promotional campaigns targeting mainstream content providers, aspiring broadcasters and casual viewers

Manage customer relationship database, including; registration, usage, purchases, affiliates, and newsletter subscribers. Use data mining techniques to spearhead viewer and publisher loyalty programs.

Analyze customer behavior patterns, website traffic, conversion rates, sales cycles and other performance indicators to gain customer insight and, in turn, build long term strategy.

Provide detailed reporting by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.

Qualifications

?

Bachelors Degree required, MBA preferred, in marketing or related disciplines

2-5 years experience developing and implementing consumer marketing, with experience in acquisition and online campaigns

Consumer products or entertainment marketing background required

Strong written and oral communication skills

Strong project management skills

Strong analytical skills

Passion for web community and television is a big plus

Knowledge of Online Marketing techniques such as viral campaigns, search engine marketing, contests and sweepstakes

Experience participating in online community or social networking environments a plus.

Demonstrated abilities at leading small and projects from inception to completion and getting results

A creative thinker and self-starter
