Motivated Design Manager - RIA E-Commerce Applications - Scheduling Interviews!

We are seeking a highly experienced Design Manager to work closely with our Design Principal to expand our design practice, hire and manage new designers, and manage the design aspect of our project work.

Responsibilities:Collaborate closely in conceptualizing and presenting design proposals to prospective clientsInterview, hire, and manage graphic, user interface, and user experience designersPromote and expand our design practice

 

Qualifications:5-10 years experience hiring and managing designers, winning business, and delivering successful results5 years experience in user interface and user experience designStrong personal communication, presentation, and management skills

 

Preferred:Strong design skills with the ability to contribute directly to design projects as neededStrong working knowledge of RIA and AJAX technologiesExperience in e-commerce and media and entertainment industries
