Position Summary:

?

Veevix is developing a corporate-management system for current and future clients that allows each client?to easily and?efficiently?keep track of inventory, orders, and sales force (commissions, bonuses, etc.).? In addition a set of tools and components is being created?to support each member of the client?sales force via a web-based interface.

?

The application will be developed in C# using ASP.NET 2.0 with Microsoft SQL Server 2005 on the back end.? This application will also need to tie into various systems which utilize .NET technologies as well as others developed using LAMP (Linux, PHP/Perl and a MySQL back end).

Responsibilities:

?

- Architect and develop a brand-new code base to support corporate activities ? such as sales, shipping, inventory control and sales-force compensation.

- Assist in the development of development ?best practices? for the programming team.

?

Experience & Skills:

?

- 3+ years of professional programming experience and application development.

- 2+ years of .NET experience.

- Strong understanding of N-Tier systems and OOP.

- In-depth understanding of ASP.NET and web application programming.

- Experience in creating and using interfaces to communicate with distributed systems.

- Ability to work individually or with a team of programmers.

- 3+ years in creating and managing SQL Server 2000 databases.

Education:

- Associates or BS in computer science, computer engineering or equivalent experience desired.

Compensation and Benefits:

?

- $40,000 - $65,000 based upon experience.
