UI Engineer Job Description:

 

SUMMARY
Senior Software Engineer responsible for the design, development and integration of solutions (products and services) for our next generation enterprise solutions. This position will work with product management team to develop the next generation of REIL solutions. Responsible for project implementation, quality review and integration activities. Identifies and communicates project resource requirements, dependencies and issues.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

?  Responsible for planning, developing, and implementing high-performance solutions.

?  Work across all departments and directly with customers to understand product requirements and address any product issues.

?  Ensure implementation of good engineering practices on all design activities, review and approve design documents.

?  Support all projects through construction, start-up, and validation.

?  Develop department SOPs and protocols with QA.

?  Implement UI designs taking full advantage of C#.net, ADO.net, including custom controls, client-side controls and scripting, and other web user interface technologies to achieve high reliability, usability, and responsiveness.

?  Work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team, including members from Engineering, Marketing, Customer Support, QA, and Documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS
MUST HAVE:

?  Object Oriented background with formal OO Analysis and OO Design experience.

?  Individual should know and have used UML for at least 2x projects.

?  2 projects- .NET experience using MS .NET Framework and C#.

?  Preferably a Rational Rose user - Rational XDE Developer is ideal.

?  Ability to initiate indivdual development efforts and develop a 'clean' system

?  Understanding of web and desktop design best practices

?  Extensive experience using .net to implement customizable user interfaces for web applications.

?  Good verbal and written communication skills.

?  Experience in designing, architecting, planning and execution of software products.

?  Must have BS in Computer Science.

Skills needed:
C#, ASP,.NET, XML, Windows SQL server,
Familiarity with .NET Framework and classes,WinRunner, LoadRunner experience a plus
