Position Description:

Reed Business Information (?RBI?), publisher of many notable publications such as Variety, Broadcasting & Cable, Multichannel News, Interior Design and Publisher?s Weekly, is currently looking for a seasoned Online Sales Director to be based out of our New York office. In addition to the print publications, RBI has a network of 75 websites that reach over 5 million unique users a month.

The Online Sales Director will be responsible for selling the RBI network of sites to Fortune 500 advertisers. This individual will be tasked with selling online ads and sponsorships, establishing strategic partnerships as well as identifying key market targets that will ultimately drive revenue and play an integral part in the on-going success of the electronic properties.

The successful candidate must have 3+ years in selling online at a portal or major site. We are seeking an individual that possesses a creative mind, the ability to multi-task, and a deep understanding of the electronic media industry. The candidate will have strong relationships with interactive agencies and clients. Additionally, he/she must have proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with Comscore/Media Metrics and or Nielsen/NetRatings a plus. EOE.
