NeoPets, Inc. is a global youth-oriented media and entertainment company. Neopets seeks a PHP Programmer to work in our Content Department. The website, www.neopets.com, has more than 22 million members and is ranked #1 on the Internet for time spent per user, pageviews per user and is #5 for total pageviews, behind only Yahoo, eBay, MSN and Google.



Some of the Neopets? larger Fortune 500 licensees and advertisers include Hasbro, Mattel, McDonald?s, Warner Bros., Disney, General Mills, Nestle, Wizards of the Coast and many others. The Web site has been translated into 9 different languages further expanding the member base.



Daily duties may include, but are not limited to creating general dynamic content for our website, game content, backend/database work, or projects incorporating client and/or partner contracts or creation for research questionaires, tracking of online and/or e-mail surveys, monitoring various ad campaign performances, interfacing with clients, and project management under tight deadlines. Applicant must be skilled in PHP, Oracle and MySQL. Experience using Flash to interact with PHP a plus. Ideal candidate will have the following attributes: experience coding for the management of massive amounts of data; good at determining the needs of the non-technical staff and coding for them; comfortable working with other programmers' code, as well as writing from scratch. Related experience preferred.
