PROJECT MANAGER

 The Challenge

 

The Ft. Lauderdale Corporate office has established a new Project Management department to meet the organization?s growth.  The new position reports directly to the Director Project Management - FLA and will work closely with the Toronto Projects team to deliver innovative solutions for our partners, with a focus on the US marketplace. 

 

Key responsibilities for the Project Manager include, but are not restricted to, the following: Become a subject matter expert on Hostopia service solutions (hosting portals, product mixes, billing integrations, project process methodology).

 Build strong personal relationships with clients, create confidence in the Hostopia solution, help partners exceed industry growth benchmarks in outsourced hosting/email services.

 Support sales personnel in assessing client needs, developing appropriate statements of work to define work products, and orchestrating the tracking and delivery of those customer solutions.  Sales engineering support will require up to 1 week per month in travel to partner sites.

 Work closely with technical administration staff, to migrate legacy hosting/email services from partners, to the Hostopia platform.

Qualifications

 Familiarity with Internet protocols, knowledge of office and project mgmt software, understanding of website design and networking terminology.

 Confident, self-starter, proactive - skilled in taking initiative, assessing requirements, coming up with plans and taking the lead in making plans reality.

 Exceptional relationship building skills with the ability to connect with different functional areas, partner groups, and client user groups.

 Superior communication skills - articulate speaker, writer and presenter.

 Team player - able to contribute effectively in a small, high performing, team environment in a rapid growth mode.

 PMI accreditation (PMP or CAPM) desired
