Portal Analyst/Support Analyst

Summary:   Reviews, analyzes and modifies web metrics for all online web sites. Assists with issue resolution and colleague support initiatives.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned. 

 
Using WebTrends and/or additional analysis tools, defines, modifies and reports on pre-defined metrics.
Create, review and submit weekly, monthly metrics reports for web behavior, outcomes and trends. Include metrics definitions, and suggestions for further analysis.
Produces executive level excel and intranet ready reports
Help define and manage site data collection tags on all business unit web sites; partnering with the development team to ensure optimal implementation.
Identifies areas for improvement or points of failure based on web metrics
Analyze web site performance, trends, retention, life cycle and click-stream analysis.
Produce analysis to evaluate performance of various web efforts by understanding key business objectives
Participates in the sharing of best practices, training and employee development
Maintain superior service to all clients
Triage issues and work with development teams for resolution
Work with Sales, assisting colleagues with web-site customization.
Ability to complete multiple taska and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.



Qualifications:

 
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Web metrics/reporting experience a must.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have extensive knowledge of Excel spreadsheet software;, prior web tracking experience and great customer service skills.  Familiarity with web technologies and terminologies including portals, portlets, servers, databases.
