Producer

GSI Commerce provides an e-commerce solution enabling retailers, branded manufacturers, entertainment companies and professional sports organizations to operate e-commerce businesses. The company's e-commerce solution includes Web site design and development, e-commerce technology, managed hosting, order fulfillment, customer service, merchandising and order management, online merchandising, customer relationship management, content development and online marketing. The company operates either all or a portion of the e-commerce businesses for approximately 45 partners. GSI Commerce trades on the Nasdaq Stock Exchange under the symbol, GSIC.

The Producer position requires more experience and focuses on a broader area than an entry level spot. The candidate will work with the design team and Production Manager to effectively manage resources, schedules and the quality of deliverables through a full project life cycle. He or she should have knowledge of commonly used project management concepts, practices and procedures. The Producer will perform all the same functions as Traffic Coordinator, with additional responsibilities.
This position will report to the Production Manager.
Project and Resource Management:
'XAccountability for the successful delivery of multiple, simultaneous projects through DS&S. Use workflow tools to assign work and manage SLA requests, small projects, large projects, site launches, concept shop requests and production work.
'XWork together with leads across the organization to build well-structured comprehensive project plans for new site launches and large project initiatives
'XClosely monitor change requests and escalate requirement modifications that result in scope creep
'XSchedule and facilitate project status meetings and advise management on the effects change requests will have on schedule and resources
'XProvide direction to resources, monitor development efforts, assemble key project deliverables, report project status, and raise awareness on issues requiring escalation
'XProvide resource requirements per project and effectively motivates and manages those resources over the project duration
'XWork with business representatives who request enhanced projects, internal subject matter experts, business analysts, development teams and QA specialists
'XCommunicate project implementation options that affect cost, schedule, quality, and risk to stakeholders, as well as offer recommendations based on these elements
'XManage large initiatives, such as holiday updates, across multiple sites through to production
'XProactively communicate and engage the business, becoming an advocate for client needs
'XDevelop the best solutions for clients, partners and their customers, seeking out new opportunities to create value and help grow client business
'XSchedule and facilitate project status meetings and vertical meetings, producing agendas and preparing the resulting conclusions and action items
'XAttend and manage partner meetings, produce agendas and prepare the resulting conclusions and action items
'XWork with business leadership to ensure all approved projects are scheduled accordingly based on resource availability and project priority
'XWork with outside vendors and partners to launch various small projects, concept shops, maintenance updates and site improvements
'XSet up procedures and service level agreements for all repetitive processes
'XMentor Traffic Coordinator


Relationship Management-

Minimum Requirements:
'XBS or MS in a computer-related field or equivalent experience
'XMinimum 2 V 3 years of experience in full life-cycle management of small to large scale projects
'XPrior involvement in managing multiple projects concurrently
'XExperience with Project Management Tools (i.e., MS Project, MSCentral, PMOffice helpful)
'XProven written and oral presentation skills
