Stamps.com? is seeking a Product Analyst with a strong analytical background and marketing experience to assist in new product selection process, product inventory management and help set strategic direction via data analysis. The successful candidate will support the Online Store segment of the business through analytical activities associated with product strategy, vendor selection, customer segmentation, product profitability, pricing analysis and budget management. This position will play a key role in the company?s marketing department, gaining hands-on experience in new product development, online promotion/merchandising, inventory management and user-experience optimization within a successful and growing technology environment.

 

Candidate responsibilities will include:Monitor the performance of product marketing campaigns on a daily basis and track the effect on customer purchase behaviorAssist in compiling periodic performance reports for new product launches, promotional campaigns, etc.Data entry of new product details as added into online inventory/merchandising toolMonitor ongoing performance of products optimizing the e-commerce sales process via improved messaging, pricing and user interface

 

Qualifications:Excellent analytical and fact-based problem solving skills, including ability to analyze large amounts of data and be able to make recommendations based on identification of trends, gaps, etc. and create forecasts based on historical dataMust be a self-starter and ready to work in an intense but fun environment with our existing team of marketing professionalsAbility to work independently as well as in a team environmentHighly organized, detail-oriented with strong communication and relationship-building skillsIntermediate to Expert MS Excel proficiency Experience with MS Access and PowerPoint will be a plusExperience with inventory analysis/coordination a plusOnline marketing experience preferred2-3 years of experience preferredBachelors degree, preferably in a business quantitative/analytical field
