Product Marketing

Position Description:

MySpace.com, the leading online destination for social networking, new music, and lifestyles, is seeking a Product Marketer to develop and implement new and enhanced features throughout the website. The Product Marketer will be involved with several key areas of the site, translating core business objectives into live features, ensuring that deadlines and requirements are met, and following-through with continued management and enhancements.

Responsibilities:
? Work closely with marketing and senior management to determine exact business requirements
? Write detailed and clear product specifications for direct implementation by the development team
? Oversight of development progress, including testing and quality assurance, to ensure that all requirements are met on time and within budget
? Continued oversight and enhancement of product feature sets following rollout to meet existing and new goals

Skills/Requirements:

? BA/BS in Technical or related field
? Self-motivation bordering on compulsion. You?ve got to execute and push projects along.
? Experience in product development for consumer web properties is a plus
? Familiarity with website application development environments, Coldfusion or .NET a Plus
? Familiarity with Relational Database Design and application development concepts
? Excellent written and verbal communications skills
? A level of disdain for conventional solutions
? Tons of common sense.
