 PROJECT COORDINATOR ? New York, NY

The Citi ThankYou Network Project Coordinator supports the Internet Marketing Management team.  This individual works within the Citi offices and is responsible for assisting in the successful development of web based media solutions.  The Project Coordinator will work with cross-functional, multi-project team resources to ensure solutions are delivered on-time and on budget according to defined scope, timeline and cost parameters. The Project Coordinator assists in development of plans, schedules and control of all project activities toward these objectives, applying technical, theoretical and managerial skills to satisfy project requirements, while building positive professional relationships with clients and associates. This is a staff augmentation position.

 

Responsibilities:

? Assist in development, maintenance and effective execution of project plans throughout the life of assigned project(s) according to established procedures, channels and success expectations

? Contribute to continual process and people management innovation, supporting effective delivery of solutions

? Assist in establishing clear project parameters supporting the success of all internal and client team members

? Provide and promote high standards of professionalism and leadership throughout the life of projects, both within and outside the organization, appropriately representing Critical Mass? business philosophies, protocols and standards

? Assist in negotiation, definition, communication and management of project scope

? Assist in creating and maintaining a project schedule, which defines activities, sequence, dependencies, work effort, duration and associated resource requirements

? Assist in forecasting, tracking and managing project budgets, POs and invoices

? Assist in defining, negotiation, communicating, implementing and monitoring quality standards on all project deliverables

? Assist in managing quality trade-offs

? Assist in acquiring appropriate resources to meet project needs

? Assist in managing client and internal team performance and dynamics as appropriate

? Assist in planning and managing internal and external project communications, ensuring effective exchange of project information and deliverables

? Assist in identifying, analyzing, prioritizing, mitigating and communicating project risks

 

Required Skills:

? Post-secondary education in business or technical field, or equivalent experience

? Project or events management experience

? Understanding of the basic programs in Microsoft office

? Understanding of new media and the Internet

? Basic knowledge of Project Management principles, methods and techniques

? Basic knowledge of software/internet development lifecycle

? Ability to tactically organize and structure activities, paying particular attention to detail

? Ability to handle multiple planned and unplanned project tasks, roles and responsibilities

? Strong verbal and written communication skills

? Strong interpersonal skills

? Aptitude and desire to build skills in mediation, negotiation, argumentation

? Aptitude and desire to build decision-making and problem-solving skills to facilitate effective task and resource management

? Basic skills in Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, Visio

? Demonstrated ability to grasp a general knowledge of multiple disciplines and technologies

? Aptitude and desire to learn how to manage interactive web-based media projects

? Aptitude and desire to learn business and financial principles, including budget, schedule and resource management

? Self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision

? Demonstrated work ethic, integrity and professional conduct

? Strong teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills

? Persistent attention to detail, while maintaining an overall view of the situation
