Project Director (online video game company in Manhattan)

The leading expert in worldwide distribution of digital games has an opening for a Project Director based in our New York City Office.

The PD will oversee the entire rollout of our premium services, leveraging our revolutionary, new technology platform. The PD is responsible for the complete lifecycle of customer satisfaction, technical implementation and business performance. You will be the owner of the project, from definition through goal achievement, and you must be able to communicate effectively. Your team will not only implement the offering on our customer?s websites, but will manage it on an ongoing basis, be ultimately responsible for its performance, and interface with multiple department within our company to ensure the accounts success.

Your responsibilities will include:

? Definition of Scope of Work and detailed project plan with our customer and our internal technical team
? Effective daily project and team management to meet aggressive launch schedules
? Creation of business goals and objectives and periodic reporting
? Interface with internal and external stakeholders as the main business owner
? Recruit, train and manage a development team
? Full P&L responsibility for the project and the ongoing business of our clients
? Maintaining the leadership of our customer?s online gaming experience

The right candidate will have the following skills:

? 5-7 years of project management experience working with multi-month client based projects
? Have an IT degree, with 5+ years relevant experience in online development, web project management and content production of a consumer portal environment.
? Thorough understanding of web technology issues and concepts from a manager?s perspective
? Direct team and external vendor management
? Strong ability to manage to a set of goals and objectives
? Extraordinary communication and client service skills with a demonstrated track record of satisfied external clients
? Online gaming experience preferred
