Project Software Manager/Webmaster

The Webmaster/Project Software Manager will be responsible for the implementation and application of online fundraising and outreach software. They will lead an interdepartmental project team, train end users, and facilitate the execution of online outreach and fund raising initiatives.  In addition, they will manage the Central Park Conservancy website and assist with online marketing and branding efforts.

This individual reports to the VP of Development & External Affairs

 

Responsibilities:Leads an interdepartmental project team to implement online fundraising and outreach software.Trains and supports end users. Works to improve the functionality and design of the Central Park Conservancy website and e-store model.Manages website content and creative input. Works closely with various departments to gather content.Develops web-based initiatives to expand the in-house mailing list and increase online donations.Creates or assists in the development of online solicitation letters, invitations, program materials, etc. to promote the fundraising efforts of the Conservancy.Conducts analysis of on-line activity and makes recommendations to senior management.Prepares periodic financial and activity reports for board meetings.Performances relevant administrative tasks.Participates in special projects.

 

Position Requirements:Bachelor's degree or higher.Proven track record in project management, software implementation and website management. 3+ years of progressive experience in website design.Experience with online fundraising is preferred.  Must be able to work effectively with staff at all levels in the organization. Superior verbal and writing skills required. Excellent computer skills required: Proficient in Microsoft Office, HTML, Experience with Convio software is a plusNew York State driver?s license required. Familiarity with Central Park a plus.
