We are located in Woodridge, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago.

 

The SEO Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing a core search engine

strategy for PersonalizationMall.com. Your goal will be to increase the positions of our natural

search engine rankings in an effort to drive sales and acquire new customers. Responsibilities

include setting and documenting all SEO standards, optimizing web pages and reporting results

under the direction of our Marketing Manager.

 

Responsibilities:

? Responsible for driving and managing all SEO activities including strategic plans for

growing organic search rankings and implementation of those plans and programs.

? Proactively manage SE relationships to ensure our site(s) are properly indexed and

develop/maintain high rankings.

? Develop a suite of reports to track, monitor and analyze all SEO efforts, including tracking

sources driving traffic to specific sites and content, top keyword rankings by category,

inbound link assessment, quantity and quality of indexed pages on major search engines.

? Work with Marketing Manager to set the overall direction and strategy for SEO

performance; provide risk/reward models for search engine recommendations and

analyze opportunity for growing traffic on major engines, continually monitor new trends

and evaluate risk/reward for implementation.

? Work with development team and site managers to improve site architecture and page

content strategies. Proactively present recommendations and design specific changes to

advance SEM/SEO goals and objectives.

? Optimize web pages including copy, metatags, page title/descriptions, alt tags, site

architecture, etc.

? Perform competitive analysis to help drive future SEO optimization.

? Develop ever-increasing SEO knowledge and research to develop and recommend new

strategies to management.

? Strong analytical skills; ability to track, analyze and report results as well as provide

strategic recommendations to optimize performance.

? Identify and resolve deviations in project planning to deliver projects as planned.

? Additional duties as required.

 

Requirements:

? 2+ years related experience.

? Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.

? Demonstrated ability to meet objectives within time-sensitive deadlines.

? Outstanding follow-through, time management and planning skills.

? Ability to multi-task, take initiative and drive projects forward.

? Excellent communication skills.

? Excellent interpersonal skills, must build strong relationships with key business partners.

? Bachelor?s degree preferred.
