SQL Developer/ Database Engineer (T-SQL, Sybase)

As our SQL Developer / Database Engineer, you will be:

? Developing, enhancing, troubleshooting stored procedures for database applications.
? Developing and optimizing stored procedures and views for stability, scalability and efficiency.
? Designing and optimizing database schema, queries, and complex stored procedures.
? Locating and fixing bugs in the existing SQL code base in a timely manner
? Fostering proactively, SQL best practices
? Performing physical data modeling
? Assisting and advising developers with new projects and work with developers in identifying, resolving and proactively working to prevent performance or other production impacting issues.
? Consulting with internal customers and team members to design and code to meet their needs.

And you will have the following qualifications:

? Experience in SQL database development, including stored procedures, and T-SQL
? Experience with OLTP RDBMS on NT, UNIX and Linux
? Effective interpersonal and time management skills
? Ability to communicate issues and work in a team oriented environment toward their resolution is critical to the success of this position
? Ability to understand and create complex SQL statements
? BS degree in Computer Science or comparable experience in technical computing environments
