recruitingmanager.com, Inc. is currently conducting a search for a SQL Server Developer for the #1 provider of real estate foreclosure & for sale by owner (FSBO) data used by brokers, real estate agents, investors, and homeowners in the US.  Headquartered in Irvine, this 10 yr old & 120 employee (and growing) company collects and markets data regarding 500,000 properties to 2M+ users every month through its network & exclusive partnerships, including AOL Real Estate, Google, Experian, Knight Ridder, Wall Street Journal, and Yahoo! Real Estate.

Duties & Responsibilities:

 

Work with software development group & database operations to design, implement and support the SQL Server database environments.  Demonstrate a detailed knowledge and understanding of SQL Server development including T-SQL and DTS and a general knowledge of OLAP/Analysis services.  Develop and implement to specifications.

-  Design and implement database objects

-  Maintain database objects such as tables, views, stored procedures, triggers, indexes, functions, etc. 

-  Optimize and tune databases

-  Identify and communicate data quality issues

-  Perform unit testing

-  Interface and communicate effectively with management and team members

-  Provide management with time estimates for tasks and development efforts

-  Mentor junior staff

-  Establish process & procedures

 

Requirements:

 

-  2+ years of experience in IT or business related experience

-  2+ yrs of experience with SQL, VBScript

-  Experience with SQL Server and its components (DTS, Enterprise Manager, Query Analyzer, etc.)

-  OLAP/Analysis Services experience preferred

-  Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
