In this key role enabling WSS?s sales success, you will provide pre-sales technical support to the sales organization and work closely with clients to execute the technical aspects of the sales strategy.

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesParticipate in sales calls by qualifying sales opportunities and resolving technical issues arising during the sales engagement. Define clients? specifications and requirements Provide technical support to marketing and IT management-level audiences. Identify client internet key business requirements and map out a clear and thorough plan for addressing current and future online marketing and web site needs Support pilot projects as well as proof-of-concept for strategic client accounts by meeting the clients? business needs. Technically illustrate how WSS?s product suite enables organizations to increase revenues by providing 360 degree eBusiness solutions. Complete Requests for Proposal, Requests for Information, and other technical documentation as required.

Required knowledge, skills, education and experience:BS/BA, preferably in a technical or marketing discipline or equivalent related experience. MBA is a plus. 5 years? pre-sales technical support experience, preferably for software or online services company. Technical aptitude to understand complex online marketing business needs and present a solution to non-technical audience. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proven high level technical ability in HTML and JavaScript deploying Web sites or Web technology. Strong working knowledge of software engineering concepts and web traffic statistics. Proven track record in supporting software products or services targeted at the enterprise IT markets. Experience with real-time software a plus. Experience with ASP, JSP, PHP preferred. Experience with ISPs and value-added service providers are required. Experience with the ASP model is preferred. Experience with online marketing and analytics experience strongly desired. Experience with product demos and implementing pilots (trials) required. Experience performing pre-sales needs assessments and answering RFP?s and RFI?s. Demonstrated understanding of online marketing objectives and the ability to manage prospects technical expectations required. Database knowledge and data integration experience a plus.
