This multi-faceted position requires a progressive, on-the-spot, critical thinker. The Search Engine AM will be interacting with all of the major Search Engines (including Google) on a daily basis to identify trends, optimize results, and stay on top of the ever-changing search engine landscape. Search Engine Marketing is a new and exciting tactic that is sure to see continued growth. From campaign execution to optimization, this account manager must understand client needs from top-level strategy to gritty details.

Key Responsibilities

 * Assist in strategy development and campaign set-up
 * Day-to-day management and optimization of client campaigns
 * Manage creative process
 * Assist in strategic analysis
 * Manage reconciliation and accounting
 * Interact directly with search engines (Google, Overture)

Qualifications

The ideal account manager has the following qualities:

 * Bachelor?s degree, relevant internships or 1+ years work experience preferred
 * Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
 * Understanding of the overall media landscape and the digital sector
 * Comfort with existing and new technologies
 * Excellent verbal/written communication skills
 * Strong quantitative skills (math or statistics background a plus)
 * Excellent research methods
 * Time-management skills
 * Demonstrated commitment to teamwork
