Do you enjoy the energy and fast pace of a small/mid sized company?  NetQuote is looking for a motivated Search Marketing Analyst to join our fast-growing search marketing team. 

 

Job Purpose: 

Manages a portion of our pay-per-click Web advertising portfolio, including maintaining the desired ad position and spend in Google, Yahoo, MSN and the second-tier search engines.   Also manages reporting to ensure profitability and account performance. This analyst will be an important frontline staff member who will help us grow our profitable search engine marketing effort. 

 

Duties: 

Responsible for maintaining the desired profitability and ad position within certain bidding constraints. Primary responsibility is to perform keyword bidding and weekly and monthly reporting. Also responsible for monitoring of overall account health, monitoring changes in the PPC competitive landscape, ad text input, keyword input, and other search marketing duties as necessary.

 

Skills/Qualifications:

Required:

? 1-2 years in a professional business setting

? Experience gathering and reporting metrics

? BA/BS

? Strong computer skills including Internet Explorer, Email, PowerPoint and Excel

? Excellent time management and organizational skills

? First-rate verbal and written skillsOther characteristics: Strong work ethic, high performer, intelligent, detail oriented, dependable, consistent, easy to work with, and confident working alone or in teams

Preferred:

? Marketing and Web industry experience

? Search engine marketing experience including experience with Google and Yahoo pay-per-click interfaces, Access, and SQL 

? Creating and delivering regular Web metrics reports
