Senior Applications Developer
WebMetro, a leading Interactive agency, conveniently located only 25 miles east of Los Angeles in San Dimas and 20 miles north of Orange County, California, is searching for a Sr. Web Applications Developer to join our applications development team. Candidate must have experience in the complete product development lifecycle including the gathering of requirements, writing technical design specifications, developing code, testing and deploying the final solution The developer must have a minimum of two years experience with VB.NET & ASP.NET and must also have experience with ASP, MS SQL and VB.
Job Objective:
The Senior Applications Developer will work with a team of other developers in building applications related to Internet marketing and e-commerce development. In doing so you will be joining a team that is committed to professional and personal growth.
Job Responsibilities:
q Develop E-business and Marketing applications using .NET and MS SQL
q Analyze, design, develop and test B2B & B2C E-Business applications
q Provide technical assistance to customers and problem resolution for assigned applications
Required Skills include:
q Excellent oral and written communications skills
q Minimum of 3 years application development experience ASP.Net, VB.Net, C# experience a plus, XML, SQL 2000, HTML, JavaScript, IIS Web Services
q Experience with Shopping Cart development.
q Experience working with version control software such as Source Safe
q Experience developing queries and stored procedures in Microsoft SQL Server.
q Experience with DTS packages and query optimization is a plus.
q Able to work both independently and with a team depending on assignment
q UI Design Skills
q Proactive approach to problem resolution and ability to work in a fast paced environment
q Detail oriented and a team playerOther Requirements
q Four year Bachelor?s degree or graduate degree
q Minimum 3 year?s software development experience
