We have an excellent opportunity for Sr. Inventory Analyst at our Woodland Hills facility.

 

Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Analyzes current and historical online ad delivery, ad traffic and site profile reports on an ongoing basis to identify trends; predict future inventory needs and provide business intelligence to upper managementUtilizes statistical analysis to forecast future inventory availability based on past delivery trends; Creates, update and manages master inventory spreadsheet as a tool for sales when generating proposalsActs as primary liaison with Sales to approve all proposals from an inventory perspective provides alternative solutions as needed; Increases efficiency of processes concerning inventory management to more accurately predict available inventory, minimize under-delivery and maximize revenueGenerates manual or semi-automated booked and proposed demand reports on a weekly basis to monitor advertising inventory by network, channel, and ad product; Works with various teams to review and improve the accuracy and effectiveness of the inventory forecasting method and its user interfaceDevelops and documents a working knowledge on how reports are generated, the criteria behind the reportProvides accurate forecast levels of all ad product impressions available to sales teams; Manages and communicates booked versus available inventory across all ad products.

 

Successful candidates must possess: B.A. or B.S. degree or equivalent (in Statistics, Economics or Business, or Computer Science preferred).2-5 years of experience working for an advertising media or internet company2 years of experience supporting a sales organizationExpert using Microsoft Excel and other analytical toolsExperience with relational databases is a plusAble to communicate effectively with members of management and other team members - flexible, personable attitudeAble to identify and prioritize critical issuesKnowledge and understanding of general business, advertising and marketing principlesStrong analytical and computer/tech skillsUnderstands demand planning techniques and proceduresUnderstands the role of inventory and how to plan for sufficient levels of inventory relative to demand variability; Understands Insertion/Sales Order Processing and PO reconciliation processes and proceduresAble to evaluate and implement new technologies and procedures to enhance and improve planning success factorsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently without supervision; Experience with one or more Internet ad management or targeted marketing applications (e.g., DoubleClick DART / DFP, 24/7 Real Media, Falk AdSolution, etc.) desired.
