Senior .NET Web Developer to $95,000

Job Description: Description Our client is looking for a Senior .NET Web Developer who will play a significant role in the development, delivery, and support of their applications running on both extranet and intranet web sites. Specifically, the candidate will play a primary role in the web design and development of the next generation of the company's product suite. In addition, the candidate will also develop and launch an intranet portal to support the company's corporate, departmental, and remote site communication needs.
Responsibilities
. Participate in the requirements discovery process with members of technical and business teams.
. Provide analysis and recommendations of user interface architecture and overall system design.
. Play the primary role in the development of a browser-based user interface for the next generation of the company's product suite.
. Implement an internal portal for streamlining basic operations and information workflow, providing manually generated or scheduled reporting and centralizing production and support environments for corporate and remote site employees.
. Document and validate system and user interface requirements, data requirements, and reports.
. Evaluate the risk and impact that new system designs may have on existing productions systems.
. Develop and document intranet and extranet usability standards.
. Design and implement a website archive, recovery and load strategy.
. Ensure effective version control and change management practices in the development environment.
Technical Requirements
. 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, developing and deploying medium to large size web applications.
. Strong Object Oriented analysis, design and programming techniques.
. Deep knowledge and understanding of .NET programming including C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, .NET Web Services, Visual Studio/Visual Studio.NET.
. Strong relational database modeling experience and hands on experience working specifically with SQL Server.
. Experience working in a high volume, financial or retail transaction environment highly desirable.
. Demonstrated experience with full SDLC.
Education
. Minimum 4 year degree in Computer Science or a related field.
. Professional certificates such as MCSE Certifications are strongly accepted.
