Senior Web Analyst

 

The Senior Web Analyst?s role is to measure, analyze and report on how customers are interacting with mixxer?s website and marketing campaigns.  We?re looking for someone to provide analysis that goes beyond the numbers to offer keen insights and actionable recommendations.  The ultimate goal is to drive more traffic, higher conversion and better retention by understanding and improving the customer experience on mixxer.com.

 

This is a key role within the marketing organization reporting to the Director of Web Analytics. 

 

Responsibilities:

? Deliver daily, weekly and monthly reports by analyzing data from Omniture, MySQL, and third-party data feeds; go beyond the numbers and drive iterative, incremental improvement by identifying pain points, testing solutions and measuring results

? Generate executive-level and department-specific dashboards that arm other functional teams with the data they need to run the business; conduct ad hoc analysis to facilitate data-driven decision-making throughout the org

? Support marketing in measuring the effectiveness of online, email and mobile marketing campaigns, as well as onsite promotions and upsell/cross-sell efforts

? Be the point person for our search engine marketing agency; aid in the day-to-day management of pay-per-click and keyword campaigns.

? Design and manage A/B and multi-variate tests for key landing pages and clickstreams, including the Home Page, Registration and Checkout

? Define requirements for measuring the performance of new features and tracking user activity through tools like Omniture and OLAP

? Benchmark against competitors using syndicated web and mobile research from services like Hitwise, Telephia or M:Metrics, comScore or Nielsen//Netratings

? Design, encode, field and analyze online surveys to measure customer satisfaction, loyalty, attitudes and perceptions

? Serve as a resident expert and go-to person for data analysis and reporting tools.

 

Requirements:

?  Bachelor?s degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience

? 3 years experience in web analytics; demonstrated ability to analyze data, find stories, draw conclusions and make recommendations.

? Power user of at least one web analytics tool (preferably Omniture) including click maps, path analysis, commerce funnels, user segmentation, and report automation

? Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, lookup functions and macros

? Familiarity with SQL and QLAP

? Proven track record of delivering complete, accurate, and detailed results

? Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment

? Highly organized and capable of handling several projects simultaneously
