The nation?s leading airport parking reservation service seeks a dynamic Project Manager to join our growing company.

 

Position Summary

 

Manage the operations and provide hands-on support for multiple travel websites. Participate in code development, oversee a distributed development team and manage production server operation, maintenance and security. Identify areas of improvement. Support and provide QA to development team. Position reports directly to the Vice President of Operations.

Responsibilities

 Participate in and manage concurrent projects and their interdependencies Define project team organization, allocate and monitor tasks to team members Provide day-to-day project contact with the development team(s) Coordinate staffing and manage distributed (onshore-offshore) teams On-call responsibilities in the event of an emergency Facilitate technical, operational and/or business requirements Estimate effort and evaluate high-level design and architecture Define project scope Develop and maintain project plans Oversee project execution and assume direct responsibility for pre-production testing Maintain project documentation Organize technical reviews Identify and manage project issues Control development of project deliverablesEnsure the use of best practices and apply lessons learned from previous projects Identify business opportunities



 

Qualification: BS (CS or equivalent)

 

Experience/Skill:

 

 

Must have:  Linux, perl, mysql, apache, CVS, html/dhtml, xml, javascript, ssh/ssl skills Total of 5+ years of experience with at least 2+ years in project/program management Experience in planning and managing project inter-dependencies, and managing resources  Ability to lead, coordinate, and manage project initiatives Experience with issue resolution across multiple locations and businesses Demonstrated communication, presentation and negotiation skills with multiple internal departments and ability to manage, direct and command respect from executive, customer service and development teams  Strong leadership and team management skills  Solid problem solving skills  Experience of multiple full project lifecycles from business development to final delivery

 

Special consideration will be given to candidates with the following qualities:Knowledge of Web Services and ajax Background in Travel industry or other business areas Speak Byelorussian and/or Russian
