Insight Direct seeks a seasoned Web User Interface Designer and Information Architect to work with the software development team to create web application functionality, interaction, architecture and data flow, user interfaces, and intuitive navigation schemes using the Ajax (Asynchronous JavaScript and XML) code and components on the Microsoft Platform. You must be a team-player with strong interpersonal skills.

 

Right now, we are in the process rewriting ServiceCEO in C# from the ground up.  We?re also getting ready to move into the next phase of the project which involves creating an AJAX based web UI for the application.

 

This is where you come in. To build the next generation web UI, we will need the following components:

 

1. Wire frame mockups. We estimate we will need about 81 screens represented via wire frames to build the new application. 

2. A detailed User Interface (UI) specification document. Preferably in an Excel spreadsheet format describing the actions that occur when a user clicks on specific UI element.

3. Detailed User Scenarios or Use Cases which support the UI specification

4. HTML CSS UI Templates and graphical elements to create and implement the UI specification. We estimate we will need about 3 to 8 Core Templates for our software engineers to follow.

5. The development of 3 personas to drive the Use Case or User Scenarios.

6. Ajax component usage recommendations.

7. Usability recommendations

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

? Wire frame mockup expertise

? Information architecture expertise

? Usability expertise

? Hands on experience with AJAX and 3rd Party AJAX controls.

? Rock Solid Photoshop and HTML/CSS design skills
