About the Software Development Test Engineer Opportunity:

Primary responsibilities include the design and development of full-text search solutions. Solutions will be implemented using C#, Python and Perl and will use the FAST search engine. Position requires designing, coding, debugging, unit testing, and maintenance of full-text search solutions in support of current and future projects. A verifiable track record of developing high quality enterprise software is essential. This position requires excellent software design and development skills utilizing object oriented programming. The successful candidate will have 5 years of development experience. Requirements include good communication skills and the ability to work closely in a team environment; experience using Python and C# is required. Experience dealing with very large datasets and experience with full-text search technology is highly desirable.


Required Skills, Education & Experience:

*Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related technical field, or the foreign degree equivalent
*Five plus years of professional development experience including structured development processes.
*Extensive knowledge of Python
*Knowledge of SQL and relational databases
*Knowledge of JavaScript, VB Script, Perl, HTML, XML, ASP.NET, C#.
*Experience building and using web services.
