Database Analyst

(Senior level reporting analyst, data research)

Identifies data sources, constructs data decomposition diagrams, provides data flow diagrams and documents the process. Writes codes for database access, modifications, and constructions including stored procedures. May require a bachelor's degree in a related area and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. SQL, .NET programming experience and knowledge of SQL reporting services required.  Job responsibilities include programming of SQL reporting services, generating business reports, data integrity assurance, and data analysis.

Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a project leader or manager.
