Samsung Telecommunications America has an immediate opening in their LA Design Lab for a Senior User Interface (UI) Programmer to assist in bringing innovative, strategic solutions to market in the wireless communication industry.

 

We are seeking a creative multimedia programmer with strong prototyping and visual design skills to support the User Interface Group with the design, testing and demonstration of new Graphical User Interfaces (GUI).  Candidates must possess the vision and technical skills to bring new GUI concepts to life within various testing platforms, the ability to architect complex user interface designs, and provide methodology by which to improve the efficiency of prototyping and design within our group.

 

Specific responsibilities include: working directly with UI designers and specification documents in order to build robust testing prototypes for new GUI concepts, create working models to demonstrate new UI concepts to key decisions makers, and support multimedia presentation design and execution.  The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously is critical.

 

Specific skills sought include: strong, creative programming skills in JAVA, C++, Flash and or other related multimedia programming environments, experience working with technical/functional specification documents, the ability to facilitate communication between software engineers and UI designers, ability to plan and execute complex prototypes and presentations.
