 WebSideStory has an opening for an experienced Sr. Web Developer. The position is based out of the company?s corporate headquarters in San Diego, CA. In this position, you will be working closely with product management to design user interfaces for Web applications in an Application Service Provider (ASP) environment. Demonstration of excellent technical, communication and analytical skills is required.

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesWork collaboratively with product managers on the design, specification and implementation, creating wireframes, designing prototypes and developing advanced web pages for user interface applications. Interface design as well as utilization of advanced client side technologies including CSS, JavaScript, DHTML and AJAX for web development Create and maintain application web pages incorporating advanced DHTML and JavaScript as an integral part of our Web application development team. Provide analysis, recommendations and implementations to optimize product usability.

Required knowledge, skills, education and experience:5 years experience in Web development Software engineering background highly desirable Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and practices Advanced knowledge and proficiency with HTML, DHTML, CSS, and JavaScript Advanced knowledge and proficiency with Adobe PhotoShop Knowledge of Flash and Adobe Illustrator a plus Basic UNIX knowledge a plus Experience with CVS desirable Bachelor?s degree or equivalent experience required Company BackgroundFounded in 1996, WebSideStory (Nasdaq: WSSI) is a leading provider of on-demand digital marketing applications and one of the largest on-demand software providers in the world.
