Strategic Account Executive - Online Advertising - East Coast Territory

As a Strategic Account Executive for Business.com on the East Coast you will identify the marketing needs of a wide variety of B2B companies and industries and put together programs for the Featured Listing product; a topic-based, auction priced program.

 Responsibilities

Cover all Agencies, SEO?s, SEM?s in designated territory as well as maintain up to 150 client direct relationships.

Responsible for regional prospecting: New England or Mid-Atlantic or South East under direction of VP. Strategic Sales:  East Coast Territory defined as: MA, VT, NH, ME, CT, RI, NY, NJ, OH, PA, DE, MD,DC, GA, NC, SC, FL, AL, TN, AK, LO

Qualify and answer each prospect?s question regarding the BDC service.

Pursue and manage opportunities through to closure of the sale.

Responsible for quarterly and annual quota attainment

15-20 Face-to-face client meetings a month

Respond to inbound inquiries for information on the product

Discuss and convey the benefits/advantages of the BDC product offering.

Enter and track prospects and associated notes within the sales contact database.

Prepare daily and weekly call reports to regional VP as requested.

 Skills/Qualifications

Track record of exceeding quota

Understanding of the Internet, online search and directory space, B2B marketing

5+ years sales experience, preferably in the online, media or high tech industries

Strong communication, organization and writing skills

Excellent computer skills

Intelligent and Creative

Strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism and integrity

Bachelor's degree
