Technical Lead / Senior Web Developer (ASP .NET / PHP)

As a Technical Lead / Senior Developer at BIG Interactive you will be developing Internet Applications using ASP, ASP.NET, PHP, Atlas/Ajax, SQL Server, MySQL, and other web development languages. BIG Interactive is seeking those who are seasoned veterans in the interactive agency environment; self-driven thinkers and problem solvers. The Technical Lead / Senior Developer will be expected to work on a technically broad range of projects, and must have very strong design and implementation skills in web applications, database design and management, mobile / wireless, and rich media applications.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 Design, develop, and deploy new database-driven web applications, and maintain existing web applications.Draft both Functional and Technical Specifications documents using RUP / UML standards.Manage and work closely with off-shore programmers on broad range of projects.Administer various servers, including Linux, Windows 2000, and Windows 2003 servers.Maintain several database servers, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MS SQL servers.Manage some aspects of the office network, such as ensuring internet connectivity, configuring new wireless devices.Troubleshoot problems with office computers, and assist staff with any technical issues they might have.

 REQUIREMENTS

 2+ years administering Linux servers.2+ years administering Windows servers.4+ years experience developing web applications using ASP / COM+, ASP.NET 1.1/2.0, PHP, Perl, SQL, stored procedures.3+ years experience administering MySQL, PostgreSQL, and/or MS SQL database servers.Relational Database Design / Erwin / Visio Data ModelerUML Software Architecture and DesignStrong communication skills Ability to work well in a team environment and brainstorm with other Technical Leads / Senior Developers on ideas, workflow, technologies, and processes.Helpful: Basic understanding of Cisco router configuration using IOS.
