Responsibilities:

We are looking for highly skilled engineers who thrive on creating real business solutions through the implementation of state-of-the-art enabling technologies, including Oracle, J2EE application server technology, and web services. This individual will work closely with the internal customer advocates, our inside sales team and the client to assess issues and define swift and thorough resolutions. Responsibilities include:

?  Provide subject matter expertise on Encover?s suite of technical solutions to front line support engineers.

?  Further assess customer-identified issues for technical solutions, propose solutions, test, obtain acceptance from key stakeholders and deploy solution to production.

?  Manage expectations by understanding the technical opportunities and constraints for various design alternatives

?  Manage and enforce configuration management for development environments and transitions to production.

?  Identify and manage to cross-project dependencies

 

Essential Knowledge and Skills

? 2-5 years of experience in software application development

?  Bachelor's Degree

?  Ability to work effectively with client senior management and IT management and staff.

?  High energetic, enthusiastic, and committed

?  Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills

?  Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

?  Experience with contract management, order management, and/or billing implementations is a significant advantage



 

Technical Knowledge

?  Knowledge of Java, XML, Perl and Unix shell scripting

?  Knowledge of Oracle, SQL and PL/SQL

?  JBOSS or other J2EE-compliant application server technology
