---- the ability to support and develop multiple applications as needed

---- strong skills with customers -- the ability to listen and respond helpfully whatever the situation calls for, up to and including helping in any way whatsoever, even in tasks outside of the realm of the work being performed for the customer



Digging deeper into your role...



Your ability to multi-task will be challenged. In addition to creating applications, you will find yourself answering phones, performing system administration, providing customer support (including helping inept users), doing pre-sales project estimating (verbal and written), gathering requirements, debugging -- you get the picture.



Your people skills are as important as your technical skills! We pride ourselves in being exceptionally friendly and helpful (to each other as well as to our customers). Although most coding is done individually, we openly and frequently brainstorm to discuss approach and strategy.



You'll also need to be disciplined and well organized. We will look to you to maintain daily records of your hours, demonstrate excellent time management, and show sound judgment in setting priorities.



At times the work becomes intensive and requires efforts beyond the normal work week. While we strive to avoid that as a matter of routine practice, it inevitably happens. Our customers are encouraged to contact us any time their application breaks or is unavailable. We will need to be able to count on you to go the extra mile under those circumstances.
