Vice President, Internet Platform (website strategy, content management, internet technology)

Our client, one of the nation?s largest issuers of business credit cards to small businesses is currently seeking a Vice President of Internet Platforms to work in the Philadelphia suburbs Corporate office.

As Vice President, Internet Platforms you will have overall responsibility for web-site strategies and initiatives. In this critical role, you will act as the liaison between our executive leadership team and senior managers in information technology and operations with direct responsibilities for planning and managing the functionality, content and enhancements.

You will lead an internal team and outside agencies that will:


Consult with senior management to develop web requirements.
Collaborate with cross- functional areas within the organization.
Prioritize and implement constantly evolving web initiatives.
Collaborate with technology teams to ensure that business requirements are met and delivered on time.
Deploy best of breed technologies to run and manage our web sites.
Ensure a positive customer experience on our web platform by applying best practices in usability and identifying opportunities for enhancements.

Qualifications:


10 years of progressively successful experience in marketing and information technology, a significant portion of which is at a senior level with broad responsibility within the web function.
Deep knowledge of and prior experience with web-based technology platforms and web usability principles.
Demonstrated ability to successfully manage web functionality.
Ability to simplify and communicate complex technology principles to peers in senior management.
Demonstrated experience collaborating with technology teams.
Prior experience managing a customer service oriented website: preferably in a regulated industry.
Proactive and entrepreneurial individual who will initiate action and achieve results in a fast-paced environment.
Proven leader with ability to develop state-of-the-art web properties.
Strong communicator who can build consensus across multiple constituencies.
Reporting / Metrics: ability to map and create flow charts/ system charts, etc.
Regional or Division Budget experience (developing, tracking, analysis)
Experience with leading Content Management Systems
Current applied experience managing a team within a Customer Service Site focus.
Financial or Credit Card experience highly preferred.
Masters? degree preferred.
