Vice President of Development

Job Responsibilities: Manage staff of over 15 Programmers, including review of project quality and conformance to Bayshore?s web development standardsPerforms programming responsibilities at a senior level Implement and improve Bayshore?s web development methodology and web development standards Participates in architecture design of projectsBalancing requirements with technical, resource and other constraints to ensure the objective of the project is realized Participates in forecasting and planning of resource requirements Participates in identification and control of project changes (effort and duration), project issues and project risks Provides training and/or mentoring to project team members and minimize turnover Qualifications: 5+ years managing a department of 15+ individuals3+ years experience programming in .NET 1.1, C#, or VB.NET3+ years experience working with Microsoft SQL Server3+ years experience developing database driven web applications using ASP2+ years of work experience with XML, XSL, COM+, Web Services, and SOAP. Able to plan and manage multiple projects simultaneously, managing priorities effectively while achieving each project?s objective within the committed delivery duration and budget Able to set clear expectations, manage performance, build high morale; staff and hire effectively and encourage individual development Bachelors DegreeMCSD or MCAD certification a plus
