The Senior Web Technical Analyst plays a key role in delivering applications in support of World Savings? Internet initiatives. The Senior Web Technical Analyst will work closely with business representatives, project management and technical team members to provide requirements / use case analysis and prepare functional and technical specifications. The Senior Web Technical Analyst will perform detailed analysis on proposed system enhancement and present findings to working groups and management. The Senior Web Technical Analyst is expected to provide mentorship and leadership for junior team members. The Senior Web Technical Analyst is expected to keep abreast of industry trends and developments and to actively participate in the dissemination of this information.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Work with user department management / representatives to analyze and document systems needs. Translate business needs into use cases, software specifications, requirements documentation for use by development teams. Perform system analysis and work with development teams to propose technical solution alternatives with consideration given to development effort, architectural consistency, operational efficiency, system maintainability and cost effectiveness. Provide consultation on technology issues and serve as knowledge base of existing web application design. Project management for small to medium size web application development projects.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of 6 years experience as a systems analyst, technical analyst or programmer analyst. Minimum of 2 years experience working in an Internet environment. Expert knowledge of SDLC and other development methodologies. Strong knowledge OO development methodology. Strong knowledge of application server, database server, and web based systems and technologies. At least one year of experience in system development project management and demonstrated leadership skills. Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Organized and attention to detail. University Graduate (Bachelors degree) or equivalent.
