Web Designer (DC)

Position Overview: You will work closely with the Creative Director, Engineering, Marketing and Channel Content department, as well as the EVP. You will use Photoshop and other leading design programs to prepare graphics for the Web, design and produce prototypes for existing and future applications. You will also help update and maintain company Websites and any other required maintenance. This will require the candidate to have some good business sense in regards to ideas and forward thinking. This is an ideal position for someone who can work independently and in teams in a fast-paced and ever changing environment. The position is located in our office in downtown San Diego. Qualifications :
Candidates must possess: * Expert HTML coding skills (raw HTML code) * Excellent design skills with the ability to create intuitive and user-centric interfaces * Expert knowledge of PhotoShop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, CSS * Ability to multi-task various projects simultaneously Beneficial if candidate posses the following: * Knowledge of Flash is a BIG plus * Marketing experience * Powerpoint * Active Server Pages (and/or other programming languages) * Print design * Audio & video editing All applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be authorized to work in the United States.
