Our fast-growing company is currently seeking a Web Developer to join our E-commerce team. Primary responsibilities will include the ongoing design and continued improvement of our e-commerce website with the goal of converting visitors into buyers. This individual must have a proven track record in developing creative solutions for complex, database driven web sites.

 

In addition, candidate should have an eye for user interface design and should enjoy creating web application and content screens that will appeal to our customers. You must be able to manage multiple, simultaneous website design and development projects of varying scope and size while deliver high quality work on time. Must be conscientious, responsible, easy to work with and have a sense of humor.

 

Key Accountabilities:

 

? Create, test and post/execute home pages, static pages, email blasts and banner ads.

? Participate in ongoing website redesign with goal of increasing efficiency and style.

? Scan, digitize images for the site, as well as archive images

 

Requirements:

 

? Candidates must have 5+ years of web design and production experience.

? In-depth knowledge of current web markup and scripting languages: HTML, XML, CSS, Javascript.

? Must possess outstanding visual design skills and present an up-to-date Web/Visual design portfolio, and be familiar with standard design concepts, practices and procedures (e.g. color theory, layout, typography, etc.).

? Dreamweaver, Flash, Fireworks, Acrobat in addition to Photoshop. Mac OSX, Quark, InDesign and Illustrator experience helpful.
