Web Developer (Bo Staff Skills a Plus)

We are seeking a highly motivated Web Developer with 3 or more years of experience writing secure, scalable applications that support high loads. This position will require collaborative work with skilled creative and development teams in a fun and fast paced environment.

Responsibilities includes:
* Actively own and be accountable for seeing assigned projects through to completion, delivering on time, on budget and within scope.
* Assist with the creation of Functional and Non-Functional Requirements documents.
* Document
* Contribute to ongoing improvement of internal processes to allow for smooth execution of projects.
* Cultivate and demonstrate and interest and awareness of trends and best practices as related to the Internet.
* Have a sense of humor, be outgoing, articulate, well-informed, intelligent, confident, and possess common sense.

What we're looking for:

* BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
* Strong understanding of web technology and the interaction between technology and business strategy
* An innate troubleshooter
* Can code XHTML and CSS in their sleep.
* Comfortable working in a UNIX environment
* 3 years minimum programming experience, including at least two of the following: PHP, JSP, Ruby on Rails, Perl, Python
* Experience working with relational database systems such as MySQL, MSSQL, Postgres and Oracle
* A good working knowledge of SQL
* Must be detail-oriented and capable of self-managing and multi-tasking
* Flexibility, initiative, dedication, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
* Ability to work well with clients and co-workers at all levels within organizations
* Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills
* Reliably deliver time and cost estimates
* Ability to read lengthy monster job postings and smile


Other things we get excited about:

* Experience with SCRUM or other Agile Methodologies
* Working knowledge of UML
* Experience using the Subversion Source Code Management system
* Experience developing or integrating SOA
* Experience with ASP, .Net or Coldfusion
