Sr Web Developer / Senior Java Application Developer / Interactive Programmer

 

Laughlin/Constable's established technical team would like to bring in another person to assist in the development of engaging web sites for our clients.  We're looking for candidates that have experience with action scripts, excellent Flash skills, and stellar ability to trouble shoot and resolve problems quickly.  HTML, Java, .net, JavaScript.  Oracle is a great plus!  You'll work closely with our other programming staff, as well as our design team, and depending on your level of experience, you may interact with the client. 

 

KEY Responsibilities:Build and maintain web-based applications based on client needs and specifications Project management and accountability of assigned projects and tasks  Participate in status meetings, client meetings and client calls, as necessary Assume fiscal responsibility for assigned projects Communicate possible project scope changes and time/cost overruns to project/team leaders

REQUIREMENTS:Experience programming web-based applications Strong communication skills; Excellent organizational, time and self management skills Detail oriented, with excellent follow through skills Strong sense of initiative and ability to work under pressure

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum of a BS degree; Computer Science, or related field, preferred 3-5 years prior experience programming web-based applications; will also consider senior candidates with 5+ years experience; Agency background helpful  Comprehensive understanding of general marketing practices Strong Internet marketing skills
