Web Developer - Marketing

Thinkronize, an award winning internet developer of educational products, is looking for a Marketing Web Developer to work with Marketing and Product Development teams on electronic marketing vehicles (web sites, online advertising, newsletters, direct email campaigns, etc.). Ideal candidates will have mature and creative design sense as well as a high technical aptitude. Reporting to the VP of Marketing and working closely with Customer Relations, Sales, and Product Development, the Marketing Web Developer will ensure that all electronic marketing vehicles are clean, efficient, and sustainable. This position is focused on the production of marketing and web applications using the latest design technologies. This includes company web sites, promotional fliers, ads, and logos. The web sites will need to be designed using the latest technologies and the ideal developer will need to have a strong command of proper design and usability. All aspects of this role require an active interest in the direction of graphic and web design, as well as a professional demeanor, positive attitude, attention to detail and the ability to work closely with others.

Responsibilities
? Serve as primary technical resource for the websites (i.e., webmaster).
? Researching and maintaining information on competitive Internet activities.
? Work to improve overall traffic levels, conversion rates and to make the site more compelling.
? Implement technical site enhancements that drive enhanced usability, lead capture and traffic analysis.
? Serve as technical owner and first level overseer of all on-line ad vehicles, including search engines, directories, etc.
? Production of HTML email campaigns to support sales and customer relations initiatives (creation and distribution).
? Serve as technical owner for direct email programs, maintaining distribution lists and opt-out lists, as well as creating landing pages and HTML emails.
? Final edits and file preparation of print advertisements to appear in trade journals.
? Develop Flash product demos as needed.
? Customer e-Newsletters ? creation, coordination, and distribution.
? Online advertising (i.e., banner ads).
? Digital creation/modification/final edits for trade show signage.
? Edit company logos, custom fliers, and custom product screensavers.

Applicant must be able to show proof of eligibility to work in the United States on a permanent basis. General Employment will not transfer visas, sponsor, subcontract or provide internships. All relocation and interviewing cost must be applicant paid.

 

Required Qualifications
? Strong technical skills with web site technologies (CSS, HTML, XML and XSLT) and scripting languages (Flash, JavaScript).
? Demonstrated proficiency using Web traffic analysis tools a plus.
? Experience with email marketing automation software.
? Ability to understand marketing programs and deliver the technical underpinnings for their success, along with the associated reporting capabilities to track them.
? Advanced experience working with leading web, graphics and database programs (i.e., Dreamweaver, Illustrator, Photoshop, Flash, Acrobat, etc.) as well as a portfolio of marketing based work (this could include web sites, brochures, mailers, branding design and presentations).
? Knowledge of Internet marketing best practices, ethics and legislation.
? Excellent written and oral communication skills.
? Strong organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure with multiple deadlines.
