Web Developer for Live Music Entertainment Co.
AEG Live, the live entertainment division of Los Angeles-based AEG
is a collection of companies dedicated to all aspects of live contemporary music performance. From production national and international tours to regional concerts to operating venues, AEG Live is the nation's second largest concert promotion and touring company. The company seeks a web developer to produce and maintain all aspects of AEG Live?s website technical development, maintenance, support and server farm operations.
Examples of Duties/Essential Functions:
Technical design, programming, database development, implementation, documentation, technical research, upgrades and quality control.
Works closely with web production artists.
Leads cross-functional project teams including vendors and AEG Live marketing staff.
Specific Job Knowledge/Skill/Ability:
Strong web development skills
Demonstrated proficiency in PHP, MySQL, Javascript, DHTML, Shell and Apache in a Linux/UNIX environment.
Strong understanding of database driven content and internet applications
Qualifications: Minimum 4 yrs experience with business and Internet development applications Minimum 4 yrs of experience in project management and development methodologies
Minimum 4 yrs of requirements writing, creating user documentation and/or specifications, etc.
Extensive experience with HTML/DHTML, JavaScript, Flash/Action Scripting, XML
Familiarity with mid to enterprise class Content Management Systems
Must have been the sole or lead developer of at least three major projects
