Web Development Analyst - CA (2723)

Job Description: Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. Perot Systems is currently looking for a Web Application Analyst to join our team in Palo Alto, CA.

Responsibilities:

Works with IT Team Lead and Web Applications Team Project Manager to ensure end product meets project goals and objectives

Support new project development including system analysis, planning and preparation

Create and maintain regular status reports to immediate Team Leader

Develop, support and maintain documentation and procedures as needed, provide training to other IT staff and user clients as appropriate

Coordinate interactions and activities of vendors, both on-site and off-site

Attends weekly team meetings to discuss team and project related activities, issues, change, communications, and updates

Provides Epic product function, design, and build expertise (obtains certification) and experience needed for successful web product implementation at Stanford Hospital & Clinics

Completes specific team task activities as documented on the Work Plan

Documents and maintains all required system design and build documents for the creation of World Wide Web and intranet sites, including activities such as but not limited to:

Epic Web applications

Leading requirements discussions to ensure Web applications requirements are properly documented and conform to SHC and W3C standards

Working with Database Administrators, Security engineers and Programmer analysts to develop complex, multi-component portal applications within a heterogeneous technical environment

Assists in development of unit, integration and performance testing activities

Documents requirements for the world wide web, including single sign

Works with Business Analysts, Subject Matter Experts and other technical resources to ensure goals and objectives of the project are met

Develops and maintains models and documentation of business and system requirements and configures system accordingly

Contributes to preparation of testing scripts and materials and performs unit, system, and integrated testing tasks.

Works with training team to develop application specific training curriculums and materials.

Provides expertise and experience to the development of activation plans, application activation tasks, and production environment readiness.

Logs, tracks, and resolves issues as well as any software code modifications or enhancements.

Logs, tracks, analyzes, and coordinates system changes including any software code implementations.

Qualifications:

Epic Certified in EpicCare, My Chart, AffiliateLink, EpicWeb, preferred

Epic implementation experience

MS IIS

Java, XML, CSS

Skilled in Microsoft Office products including MS Project

Web integration development experience

Experience with web applications, web portal and/or web integration development

Strong skills with .NET technologies

Experience creating and consuming Web Services, XML and heavy SQL Server development

Well-versed in UI development (UI design, WebForms, JavaScript, DHTML/HTML, XML/XSLT/XSLT) and/or business logic development using industry-standard tool

Solid understanding of N-tier architecture

Object oriented analysis and design

Experience with J2EE a plus

Prefer experience with UML and Use Case development and Sharepoint Portal

Ability to deal with a number of tasks simultaneously

Strong attention to detail

Communicate efficiently with application team as well as managers and client - both written and verbal

Skilled at problem solving

Demonstrated ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems

Strong organizational and planning skills
