Web Development Project Manager

Loan to Learn, a rapidly growing Sterling, VA based organization that pioneered the credit based education loan industry, is actively recruiting a Web Development Project  Manager  to manage the build-out of a new Loan to Learn website, Live to Learn website and other small websites we build and update periodically for the business

 

The web project manager will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle development of web development projects from conception through launch to include strategic planning, design, development, testing, launch, and maintenance.  The focus of this role will be to take ownership of the following duties: Project Planning, Project Management, Documentation, Meeting Management, Budgeting, and Resource Allocation.  This person will be the Main Point-of-Contact for all related efforts.

The Web Development Project Manager will manage ad hoc web development projects, including periodic web site updates to content and functionality, develop project plans, timelines, resource allocation and budgets,  schedule, coordinate and direct core team, executive team and vendor status meetings, manage project financial reporting including pulling weekly resource hours, work closely with IT, marketing and operations to ensure all groups are in synch on project goals, milestones, timelines and deliverables, develop and manage core team and Executive team project expectations and provide Executive team with periodic status reports.

Working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple planned and unplanned projects individual will proactively trouble shoot and problem solve.  The successful candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor?s degree, as well asAt least 7 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a consulting or agency environmentAt least 5 years of project management experience, preferably in a web-focused environment ? financial services a plusProficiency with project management tools, such as Microsoft Project, as well as other MS Office applications as well as advanced MS Office skillsInquisitive, creative, and practical nature demonstrating a drive to delve into problems and create unique, realistic solutions

 Experience in consumer lending or other financial services is a plus
